ACCOMMODATION

Originally build in 1947, The Red House is a beautifully renovated fishing cottage that captures the "old world" essence of South Africa's coast.

Rustic Heritage: The cottage retains its iconic exterior and features a shaded front stoep (porch) tucked under a massive, milkwood tree.
Modern Interiors: Updated in 2025, the interior boasts a simple, functional, and open-plan design perfect for easy holiday living.
Outdoor Living: The back of the house is designed for the ultimate South African summer. It includes a covered braai area, a large dining table for family feasts, and comfortable day beds ideal for post-lunch naps.

The inside part of the cottage can be rented for 6 people (3 double beds).

The whole house sleeps 10 people ( 3 double beds inside, 1 double and 2 single beds in two outside rooms).

Min. 2 night stay.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Self-catering kitchen, small oven, air fryer, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, ice machine, dishwasher, two fridges and a tub freezer.
No Wifi or TV, take a digital detox to reconnect with family and friends.
No ensuite bathrooms, both the inside and outside bathroom facilities are shared by the guests.
No servicing of the cottage, please do your dishes.
The Redhouse is within walking distance of the beach and slipway, that are about 200m away.
No shop or restaurant at Infanta - the closet is the Bent Head Pub 4km down the gravel road, they stock wood, drinking water and basic groceries. You can have a drink and watch the rugby. Opening times vary, so check with the owner.
No Pets, the property is not fenced.
No camping, for overflow guests please enquire regarding neighbouring rentals.
